“This is a nice country!”
First impression from the three Global Interns from the Imperial College of London shared their first thought when they just arrived in Lilongwe. Together with four medical school interns from Taiwan, they are going to have internship program attached to hospitals and Mzuzu university in Malawi for three months. Filed experience of global health works, eHealth course development with Mzuzu University and engage with the MTIMA project to setup database for diabetes clinic in Mzuzu Central Hospital, these are the key activities for the three outstanding UK interns.
This is the 6th year anniversary for LIN Malawi to host international interns from aboard. Apart from students coming from Asia, we are receiving students from USA, UK and most excitingly, from Norway now!
