LIN will be at the 18th ICASA in Harare, Zimbabwe! Join us on 30th November, 2015, 7:00- 8:30 AM in the Jacaranda 3 room at the Rainbow Towers Hotel for the Satellite Session on “Migrant Health and the potential for technology to make a difference”.
History of LIN’s participatory in the migrant and mobile population health equity can be found here.
Speakers from the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the SADC Secretariat, National AIDS Council of Zimbabwe, Chi-Mei Medical Center, Bjorgass Social Welfare Foundation and Pingtung Christian Hospital will share latest developments and updates on strategies to provide equitable access to healthcare, especially for health conditions that require long-term follow up and continuity of care, e.g. HIV, TB and NCDs.
We believe everyone has the right to healthcare, regardless of immigration status or your nature of work. We believe we can harness the power of technology to improve care continuity. We believe we can do this with the support from policy makers, health officials, health service providers, technical partners and people like you – who will continue to demand that this needs to be done.
Join us in Harare!
